Calling all Jen Kingwell fans - this club is for you! We know that our favorite Aussie's patterns can be a little tricky at times so we have formed a club to help you navigate the intricacies required in piecing. We are starting with Jen's new 2019 Mystery quilt pattern which will develop over the coming year. Even though the patterns will only be released every other month, we are choosing to meet once a month to give you extra encouragement and support. Jen's fabric for this quilt will also be available. Club will be led by our new employee, Lynette, who has a wealth of information to share regarding different hand and machine piecing methods. Students will learn a lot in this class. If you are interested but require more information, just give us a call. 952.233.3774 PS - Clubs are a great way to make new friends and see what's happening each month at the store.

Woven Jewelbox has proven to be a very popular quilt in the shop. The neutral light gray backgrounds set off the pops of color used in the central diamonds. In addition, the diamonds are purposefully set off center to give to it a more modern feel. We use the Creative Grids 60 degree diamond ruler to cut our shapes from a strip pieced strata. The quilt is put together in rows diagonally. No inset seams or weird angles to sew. Mary pieced and quilted this sample so she knows all the angles.
Kits are available.
