Eagle
Creek Quilt Shop is located in a marvelous old railroad depot close
to downtown Shakopee. This landmark structure is in many ways
an ideal setting for a quilt shop. The high ceilings are
perfect for displaying full size quilts and large windows throughout
the building provide great light for fabric selection. We have
ample parking and "green" space for flowers and trees. Many
quilters have a very active appreciation for old architecture and
antiques so we frequently find ourselves surrounded by kindred
spirits. We give many tours of the depot to railroad buffs.
A cuddly cat named Martha lives at Eagle Creek. Martha has her
own bed, her own quilt, and general command of the shop. She
writes recommendations for the quarterly newsletter which is in
the form of an old newspaper.
Eagle Creek carries a carefully selected number of non-quilting
items. We love pincushions and we are very fortunate to have
the work of local artist Judy Case. Judy's pincushions are all
unique collector items made from beautiful vintage materials.
We also carry handmade soap, and custom made quilt hangers.
